Cement Types
Type I-II - Sulfate-Resistant
Lehigh Southwest manufactures cement that meets the standards
for both Type I and Type II low alkali. This cement has improved
resistance to attack by sulfates and lower heat of hydration.

Type III - High Early Strength
This cement is used in applications where rapid
hardening or high early strength is required. Type

Type V - High Sulfate-Resistant
This cement is used in applications where concrete
is exposed to high amounts of sulfate in the soil or ground water.
The low heat generation of this cement makes it ideal for use in
mass concrete applications such as dams or large foundations. Type

Plastic Cement
This cement is used for hand and machine-applied
stucco.
