Cement Types

Type I-II - Sulfate-Resistant

Lehigh Southwest manufactures cement that meets the standards for both Type I and Type II low alkali. This cement has improved resistance to attack by sulfates and lower heat of hydration. Type I-II Lehigh Southwest Projects.

Type III - High Early Strength

This cement is used in applications where rapid hardening or high early strength is required. Type III Lehigh Southwest Projects.

Type V - High Sulfate-Resistant

This cement is used in applications where concrete is exposed to high amounts of sulfate in the soil or ground water. The low heat generation of this cement makes it ideal for use in mass concrete applications such as dams or large foundations. Type V Lehigh Southwest Projects.

Plastic Cement

This cement is used for hand and machine-applied stucco.
